Yesterday, we posted an article with our predictions for the top companies to be honored as the "Boston's Best Places To Work”. To make a long story short, we didn’t exactly get all the right answers (shoutout to the CarGurus guys, we should have consulted with you guys first). However, we still stand by our answers. In light of our wrong predictions, we decided to highlight some companies who may have not been honored last night, but we think are still great places to work.
Lola Travel: They’re a new kind of travel company that provides on-demand, personal travel service through a smartphone app. The Lola app instantly connects people to their team of travel consultants who find hotels, research vacation dreams, book flights and anything else customers need. Drift: Dri
ft lets you talk to your website visitors and customers in real-time, from anywhere. Drift connects to all of the tools that you already use like HubSpot, WordPress, Slack, Segment, Zapier and more. Not only does that make Drift easy to set up, but it’s easy to seamlessly integrate Drift into the ways you already work. Circle: Circle is an app that is changing the
way people transfer money. Using their experience in internet technology and global finance (like helping to found and build the Allaire Corporation and Brightcove, and honing their skills at places like Square, JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, and Amazon), they’re making online payments easier to use, safer and more convenient than ever. We think they’re doing great things and they’re looking to bring on some new talent to their expanding company. Clypd: The Clypd te
am consists of a hybrid of television and digital veterans, which means that we bring the most effective strategies from both industries into the hottest emerging channel: programmatic TV. Founded in 2012, the company’s TV sales platform delivers workflow automation, data-enhanced decisions and provides media partners with tools to manage their sales efforts. Clypd’s innovations around programmatic television are opening doors for incremental digital budgets currently not available to the TV media owners. The Clypd team is comprised of both TV and digital advertising experts, which uniquely positions the company to understand and meet the needs of the television industry while leveraging the best programmatic strategies from the digital world. Jebbit: J
ebbit is a venture-backed company offering a digital marketing platform that creates engaging micro-content, personalizing a brand’s interaction with each individual in its audience. Over time, their solution transforms the unique data they’ve captured into rich consumer profiles, which integrate with any marketing technology stack.
Wanderu: Wanderu searches hundreds of bus and train companies to find you the best travel deals. Get the best deals from official partners, including Amtrak, Greyhound, Megabus, Boltbus, Peter Pan, Adirondack Trailways of New York, Turimex Grupo Senda, Red Coach and hundreds more.
