One of the most valuable things we learned as a team since starting Drafted, is focus, and not getting distracted from our goals as a company.
Drafted’s mission is to make referrals fast, fun, and rewarding for everyone involved. This includes hiring managers, recruiters, team members, referrers, and job seekers.
Since we launched Matches on the web, we’ve gotten a great response from employers and job seekers alike. By releasing updates weekly or even daily on the web, we’ve been able to evolve Drafted faster than even we thought possible.
The web app is now much more powerful than the mobile experience. Today, you, our mobile users, miss out on a lot of cool stuff from the web.
We’re dying to re-imagine our mobile app with all the learnings we’ve had building the web experience for Drafted, but right now, we’ve decided to focus on the web where we can serve the majority of our users.
As of Jan 1, 2017, we will no longer support the Drafted mobile apps. To use Drafted, you will need to use your account on the web.
If you’re a Drafted mobile user, you’ll get an email from us with a special link to migrate your account to the Drafted web app. Easier referrals, team functionality, and a better search experience are all waiting for you. When we launch the re-vamped version of Drafted mobile later in 2017, you’ll be able to continue using it as if nothing happened.
We’ll keep you posted, but rest assured that we’ll be re-imagining the Drafted mobile app from the ground up early next year and shipping a huge new app just for you :)
