The Referral Program Benchmarks Report

In 2017, we launched referralprograms.org as a free community resource to share data about referral program benchmarks. (Here’s a link to the announcement)

The purpose of this report was to collect community contributions and other publicly available data to help companies kick start their referral program to make great hires. We surveyed over 150 companies to create the referral program benchmarks report.

We’re kind of obsessed with referrals at Drafted. We noticed that when speaking with talent leaders anywhere, the same kinds of questions kept coming up. We set out on a mission to answer the most common referral program questions.

Common questions asked by talent leaders about referral program benchmarks:

  • Does a referral bonus actually help get more referrals?
  • What's a good referral % to aim for?
  • How can we structure our program and bonus to be the most effective?
  • How does our referral program compare?

Last year, referralprograms.org got a facelift in preparation for the 2020 referral program benchmarks report. While we are still working on publishing our referral program findings from last year you can download the 2017 Referral Program Benchmark Report via the link below.
