We know that the answer to hiring more through referrals isn’t about being inundated with referral after referral. Being able to concentrate those referrals where you really need them can be more beneficial. The challenge is getting people to send referrals for those high priority positions. Most employees don’t even know what positions you are trying to fill, let alone which ones are the most pressing.

That’s why this has been one of our most requested features. Having a feature in your referral tool that highlights jobs without having to spam your co-workers week after week asking for referrals for X and Y position is a must. Non-negotiable.

Set Your Priority Jobs

Let’s say across all of the open roles at your company you are in dire need of some top-of-the-funnel referrals for Account Executives and Full Stack Sales candidates. Using the Jobs page, you’ll have the ability to select up to 3 priority jobs.

When you click add a priority job, you can search through all of your open positions on Drafted. Scroll through the list of jobs or type them in the search bar. Once you make a selection the role is set as a priority. Your job here is done. Now you can move on with your day knowing that Drafted will take it from here.

We will prioritize the chosen jobs in the weekly referral suggestions email. This email highlights 4 potential referrals someone at your company can make. When we prioritized the Account Executive role, it prioritized Account Executive matches in the email.

The prioritized referral suggestions don’t stop with email. All Slack notifications will prioritize matches for the selected priority jobs first. Just like the email, but instead, someone new will be highlighted. Like this match for the Full Stack Sales role we added.

Setting your priority jobs takes little to no work on your end. Once those jobs are set, Drafted will do the heavy lifting to make sure the pipeline for those roles starts filling up.
