Referrer of the Month
Take the person who made the most referrals during the month and hand them a trophy. The title itself comes with a lot of bragging rights and they deserve recognition for helping fill the top of the talent funnel. And if you have a budget to spend on your colleagues reward them to a nice dinner or hook them up with an Amazon gift card.

A great way to keep the referrals rolling, giving people a weekly goal. Every week raffle off a different prize. Anything from movie tickets to a spa day. Or maybe something small, like a trinket for your desk. Who doesn’t love a cool bobblehead? At the end of the day Friday, throw everyone’s name in a hat that made a referral that week and randomly pick your winner.
How do you top a weekly raffle? Raise the stakes with a monthly raffle. Everyone gets 1 entry per referral made. Did someone make 10 referrals this month? Great! Their name gets entered 10 times, giving them 10 chances to win a grand prize.
If you want to do one really quick push, announce a surprise contest. Give people one hour to make as many referrals as they can. The person with the most referrals wins 6 months of free Netflix. Get creative, even if you’re balling on a budget.
